Default Possible pcv issue?

I have a 14 cruz 1.8 NON turbo belt motor 105k miles. I thought I had a bad headgasket as I was bellow white smoke. Started disassembly to do head and see intake is FILLED with to brim with oil. Could it be a bad pcv and not head gasket? I replaced oil cooler as thought that was my mixing issue and never ran it since bellowed smoke. Cyl 1 and 2 valve area ate filled with oil as well I can see with Intake off. Any help appreciated!
