Default temperature message/temp gauge/ loud fan

I have a 2015 chevy cruze and as soon as i turn it on i get this message stating that the ac has been turned off due to high temperature, also the temperature gauge does not read and the fan is very loud. what can this be?

Possibly a bad temperature sensor and a bad fan.
