I thought the service bulletin has been sent too crowded. Maybe it is different or they speak is different. I'm not technical, but I pray about it. Maybe crowded lubricant in transmissions were only Cruzes manual. Not sure.

Months later and this problem continues for my GF. At times it seems okay and at times the car shifts extremely rough. We have been to the dealership numerous times but they don't seem to know what to do anymore. I currently drive a 2003 Honda and I considered a Chevy for my next purchase but I don't think I'll be going down that road again. I am very disappointed in this as a whole.

But the problem with the Cruze LS with automatic transmission is that it doesn't DRIVE well-read Consumer reports driver reviews....one test driver calls it a "bizarre" transmission!Unfortunately these reviews weren't as visible when I purchased my ride(2011 model) When motor is cold,it takes a long time to shift from reverse to drive..came within inches of getting rear-ended. It was a balmy 20-can hardly wait to see what it's like at -40!As well-frequent jerky shifting & reving. Had it checked at dealers-"no problems".Well,GM-you've produced a car with obvious design flaws-what are you going to do about it? (car has 700 km on it) My first car was a Chevy Vega & have always driven & been a fan of Chevs. Not after this lemon-contemplating trading it in on anything else.

Suddenly there's a "fix"-new software download.A bit better, still hesitates. After my nephew was driving it on extremely busy freeway in Calgary-RPM's shot up,light on,dropped to low RPM's..in his words"like slamming your brakes on"-no answers for that from dealer!Have lost all trust in Chevy reliability-what's going to go next!

I believe the rash of trans. problems are due to a faulty module according to a chev tech I know. I'll find out more about it and report back.
