Default 327 double hump ???

Just found out that the 1972 chevy truck i bought for $300 overr 3 years ago has a 327 double hump in it.. I really don't know what that means, I was told i was sitting on a gem. Is that true? anyone? I'm not too car savvy i guess. The truck is a big pile, falling apart and all.. should i beef up the engine and put it in a camaro or some sort? any ideas what that kind of engine is worth? It runs damn good. info please
