So today I came into possesion of a complete motor. It was used in a industrial application to run a chiller for air conditioning. It has 300hrs on the motor. It ran using natural gas. Here is what I know

Heads: 10141279 vortec 7400?? 1996- up
Block: 10237297 454 1996-up

This motor has hydrualic lifters(flat tappet) NOT roller lifters installed. I have read that this is rare.

I have read that installing a ZZ502 cam is a quick boost tohps, but I do not have roller components. What are my options? Am I able to convert to a roller system fairly easy?

What other mods are fairly standard for this motor? This motor does not have a car yet so I am building it how I want to(no holds bar) kind of approach. Once its done I will find a suitable car to mate it with.

I am willing to take this motor completely apart if needed. If anyone could help with a build list I would greatly appreciate it.
