I drive a 2005 Chevy Equinox and some of the downfalls of having children is that they can ruin your car... LOL My question is an entire bottle of water leaked onto my amp underneath the backseat passenger side. It is fried! Can I put a non factory amp in there and if so would anybody by chance know how? If not then does anybody know the price range on a new factory amp? Thanks for the help I greatly appreciate it!

Your best bet is to head to the junkyard(or call) and see if they have one you can use. Unless you want more power to your speakers or plan on upgrading your sound system in the future, then I'd look for an aftermarket unit.
