Default 06 oil filter adapter

I know the part numbers are discontinued but needing to see if anyone has a part number to order a new adapter. Also anyone had problems with the housing filter gasket leaking. Did oil change and found leaking.

thanks,

The part number for the oil filter adapter housing is 12576860 or 12620912 (the latter replaced the former at some point) and is only used on the 3.4L in the 2005-2009 Equinox/Torrent. In any case, the oil filter adapter is a part that never wears out. It never needs to be replaced unless it is physically damaged. There are a couple different designs for the oil filter adapter housing gasket. Be sure to use the latest gasket design that uses rubber attached to metal like the Victor Reinz 711351100, Mahle B32184, or even the OEM/AC Delco 12607947.

FWIW, I recently thought my oil filter adapter gasket was leaking too so I replaced it. The leak persisted, and it ended up being the front main seal.
