Hello Everyone, so I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox, with a Pioneer DEH 7300bt stereo installed. I am not getting any sound out of any s of the three speakers on the driver's side. On the passenger side I get sound out of all three speakers. Connections from the wiring harness to the stereo are good. Any thoughts?

 

did it work before the swap?

 

so the pioneer stereo has been in it for 5+ years, and no sound has been coming through the drivers side speakers for years, just getting around now to fixing it.

 

are the speakers blown? Where are they located?

 

I'm assuming you've already made sure the balance is centered on the radio. Does it do this with all sources (bluetooth, aux input, CD player, FM/AM radio) on the radio?

I'd check for broken wires in the driver door jamb. Typically, if a short is detected by the radio it cuts sound to all speakers though, not just one side.
