I had a problem today for the 1st time with my Equinox I get it serviced regularly oil changed etc and I was driving at about 65 on the highway and it stalled and wouldn't re start NO warning or anything. I am taking it to my mechanic tomorrow. Its been a great car till now. No check engine light etc so I am hoping my mechanic can tell me what is wrong with it and hoping its not pricey to fix.

read above comments .. it is the ECM/PCM .. basically the motherboard in your car .. the dealer charged me 650.00
I had to have my Onstar do the diagnostic when it happened while the lights on the dash were still on to get the diagnosis ...

 

I am going to end up losing my job as i cannot get there or vet my car home cause wont start and cant afford tow or repair
