Have any of you guys replaced the wiper switch on your Equinox? My delay function doesn't work properly and the wipers won't return to the park position unless I coax them back there. I replace the wiper motor over the weekend and that did not cure it. Therefore, I'm pretty sure that I'll need to put in a new switch. The Haynes manual I borrowed from a friend is pretty vague on it. It doesn't say you have to pull the steering wheel, but I'm pretty sure it will have to come off and the airbag will have to come out too. I know the battery will have to be disconnected and the airbag allowed to discharge first. I'm guessing a lock plate remover will be needed also. Can anyone verify this for me?
