I bought a Pioneer head unit and the Accexx BX-GM2 chime and retains accessory power interface kit for my Equinox. Most of the install is straightforward but I have a couple of questions. I also have a Haynes manual with the wiring schematics.


1. I need to hook the red(power) wire out of the chime box to the accessory wire. What color is the accessory wire and where is the closest place to find it from the center console opening?


2. The orange wire for illumination from the radio - would the purple/white stripe wire for interior lights be the correct wire?

Did you hack off the factory radio plug? You shouldn't need any diagrams if you used an adapter harness. The wires on the adapter harness should be colored and labeled just like your Pioneer radio and the interface you're installing.
