Default 2010 Equinox - WHy ALL key fobs stop working @ same time?

What I have is a 2010 LS model. Suddenly ALL 3 of my key fobs stopped working. When the first one stopped working I changed the battery, didn't work. I went to my first spare, which I hadn't used for a long time and that didn't work. Third one also didn't work...

Is there a simple answer to this?

Here is more background information:
- I am able to lock all locks using the key at the door
- I am able to lock and unlock all doors from the buttons on the center panel below the radio
- I have seen the bulletin from GM that sometimes the ignition switch can be stuck - that's not happening

I can't seem to find any information about a receiver module which would receive the transmission from the fob in order to command the car to unlock or lock the doors - where is this located?
I also can't seem to find anything about the fuses associated with this - though I assume it's one of the BCM ones - which there are several.

I appreciate any advice you guys have!
