Upon putting the key in the ignition, and turning the key, no sound, however, service power steering and service stabilitrak errors appear in the message center. i've read that might be a bad transponder on the key? haven't checked the battery or fuses, but worked fine yesterday. any help is greatly appreciated.

 

If the engine isn't starting, the vehicle battery is probably bad.
