2011 Rear Head Restraints
The OM says they are not adjustable. Dealer says it's a fed safety thing. Problem is they push a car seat forward so it doesn't set correctly. So am I stuck with protecting a hypothetical adult rear seat passenger while endangering an actual child passenger? Sounds like the nanny state strikes again.
I ran into this exact same problem with my car seat. We bought a 2012 this past weekend, and we have the full size car seat (65lb+), the rear headrests are a pain in the *** to work around to get the car seat to sit right on the back bench when forward facing. I had to lean the passenger side rear seat back a bit to get the car seat to fit correctly. I also called my salesman and he told me the same thing, you cannot remove them. :-\
