The driver seat on my 2013 Equinox moves back and fourth and every other way BUT it will not raise or lower. It tries to move but feels like it's stuck. Any info on what is causing this and how to fix it is greatly appreciated!

 

can't know what's causing it without looking at it. Take the seat out and inspect the mechanism.

 

This happened to me a while ago. The driver seat wouldnt go up or down. There's a bracket at the bottom side (mine was on the right inner next to the center console) that gets jammed into the rail if you go too low and you have to take the seat out to pry it apart, I ended up just bending the bracket a little and it doesn't happen anymore.
