Hello all! A few days ago I was driving my equinox and had to go out of a pretty narrow driveway, I ended up hopping the curb and thought no big deal, now when driving I hear a thumping sound, almost sounding like two parts of the front end are hitting. The strange part is the sound is not continuous, if I accelerate or break while driving the sound will stop, it mostly only happens while driving without any peddle input. I was thinking cv joints so I inspected them and saw no damage. It seems to make no difference if I am driving straight or at a curve. The sound dose seem to be speed dependent as the faster I drive the faster the thumping occurs, any ideas? I'm gonna pull the wheels off and thow it on jackstands Monday. I also shoved it in manual mode to see if shifting gears stopped or changed the sound in anyway and it made no difference.
