I have a 2011 Chevy Equinox and the sound system sounds awful. I know this was touted as a "Premium Sound System" at a cost of $850. There is no high end or treble it seems like. I am an avid audiophile and enjoy good sound and this isn't cutting it. I did all the adjustments I could to the bass, treble and EQ. Still sounds muddy. Had it to the service department (I thought I'd try but I knew the outcome) today and of course they could find nothing wrong.
Do they just stick a subwoofer in and call it a "Premium Sound System". Not happy as that kind of added to the selling points I considered.

Anyone else have this experience? I have a 2001 PT Cruiser and that sound system is so much better. It has some crispness and clarity the Equinox doesn't have, not as much bass though but bass is not a selling point to me.
