Default 2013 - Lane Assist And Rear View Mirror

I have a 2013 Equinox LT. Part of the package is the lane assist. Problem I am having is I am 6'2 and because of the covering on the camera that the lane assist uses I can not tilt up the mirror high enough. I can not see out of the back of the truck, all I see is the back seat and if I'm lucky the bottom of the window.

Was wondering if anyone else had this issue and found a fix? Tried to buy a mirror off of Amazon to put on it but it has to punch the mirror and because of the angle it can't do that on the top.

Thanks in advance.

Hm I dont have a new equinox, mine is a 2009, but I know I had some visibility issues, but luckily my seat height adjustment could let the seat down low enough for me to see. I have the big auto-dimming mirror. I am 6'2" and had troubles looking back with my 1993 toyota corolla that used to drive me nuts.

Try to see if the seat can be lowered enough without making your legs uncomfortable. Your other option might have to be to replace the mirror if the moldings prevent the full rotation of the mirror

-Edit: The only other suggestion I have is to slide the seat forward a little if possible, that makes a large difference as the perspective of your eyes changes significantly with the mirror.
