2015 Equinox head rests.
I want to removed the rear seat headrests so the seat will lay flat when folded down. Anyone have an idea short of a seat dissembly. It looks like they are bolted down. Thanks L Lee Parmeter Biloxi, MS

The guides on the top of the rear seat backs for the head rest supports each have a small hole in them. The 2014 service manual (2015 should be the same) says you need to insert something into those holes which will then allow you to pull up and remove them.

Great, found the hole, felt the spring tension. It looks like a two people job because the headrest won't release. BTW the only mention in the 15' book is they are not removable. Thanks for your post. Lee
