We are trying to import our Equinox into Canada but they require running lights to be on at all times. They also require that you not be able to turn them off (manual mode). We took it to a dealership and they thought it would take an hour to program that and then we were told that they had never seen our problem before. They can't program it and it will take a $700 kit and over $600 in labor to fix it, if they even can. Anyone have any advice? Are we getting taken by the dealership?
