I own a 2017 Equinox Premier Edition. I bought it used about 2 weeks ago with 31k miles on it, nad no historical issues. I went to Indianapolis today to visit my grandparents and when I got home and shut the car off the key would not go all the way back to be able to be removed. I watched some videos and found a slot for a screwdriver to release the switch and get the key out, but I subsequently tested it with both fobs and it is now happening every time. Frustrating. Is this covered by the Manufacturer Warranty? I can release it with a screwdriver, but I need a long-term fix.
