My wife hit a deer with her 19 Equinox, and I replaced the radiator last night. When disassembling the front end, I had to take off the intercooler, and found this surprise. It runs fine and has no CEL on, but seeing that oil/water mix in the intercooler and piping, really has me concerned. Anyone else seen this, or have any ideas where this is coming from? I pulled the dipstick, and the oil level is fine, and oil looks normal, so I'm a bit confused on where this oil/water mix came from.

 

Oil could be coming from the turbocharger as it has motor oil pumped in to the turbocharger bearing. If that goes bad, oil leaks.
