Default Getting water in oil

I have a 2001 5.3, and water is getting in the oil. Idid a comp. check on each cyl. & they seem to be good. I am fairly positive water isnt reaching cyl. What are the different ways it can get in oil pan & how can I check to see where its coming from? It doesnt have oil cooler that runs through radiator.
