Since they now come without gas caps, and gas is at a stupid high price… gas thieves are coming back out of the woodwork.

Is it possible for me to buy a locking gas cap and install it on my ‘21 Equinox even tho they’re won’t made to work without them? I don’t want to screw anything up and am normally more knowledgeable than this but I cannot seem to get a straight answer from anyone I’ve asked. If anyone knows of this is possible, and which one to purchase, I’d very much so appreciate your info.

 

I have tried many sources and found nothing. ACdelco makes one for the 2021 Silverado, but no one seems to make one for the Equinox.
