My mom has a 2011 Equinox with 19,000 miles. The back up camera look like static picture and the it went completely out. All you see now is rear view mirror when you put in reverse, no image at all in the side of mirror. Dealership want an out of reason price around 400 dollars for camera and 400 dollars for rear view mirror plus labor. How could I tell what went bad. Has any one else has problem like this...

 

My 2011 did the same thing this week. Did you end up getting it fixed at the dealer? My rear view mirror light is blinking slowly which means its not getting video feed I believe.
