can i pour seafoam in the g/f vacuum lines?
So she's got an equinox and I am going to go through it
Giving it a tune up. I pour seafoam down my vacuum line via the pcv
Valve to get all the Carbon deposits and other crap out.
Can I do this with the equinox as well?
I just wanna make sure there is nothing special in there
that could be damaged.
Thanks!

The PCV valve itself is not replaceable. It is built into the front rocker arm cover. As a result, it can only be replaced if you replace the rocker arm cover.

There is no easy way to inject the Seafoam on this engine because the engine uses a sealed intake system. The only option you have is to buy the Seafoam spray with the small tube. Click here for more info.
This engine uses a throttle by wire setup. There is no throttle cable - it is run electronically. You can still clean the carbon from around the throttle plate, but you do need to be careful.
