A buddy of mine bought an 09 equinox sport awd and wants to turn it into a 4x4. I know it's stupid but....
he is determined to do it. I told him I would TRY to do a little research to see how much it costs or if its even possible. So can you do it? And how much would it cost?

I told him to just bye a 4x4 but you gotta know this guy. He gets an idea in his head and runs with it! He also was thinking of putting an SS motor from a trailblazer in it. I'm no mechanic will it fit? How much would he be looking at for the motor? Thanks guys and God bless

 

It's not wise to completely destroy a 4 yr old vehicle to "make it better".
YOU would be better off not be involved with this project because if it were possible OR he were capable he would not be asking you to ask around.

 

Sounds like a waste of time and money. If he wants to throw his money away, I can send you my address, so he can give his money to me.
