Default Dealer Can't Unlock It NAV Unit Installed in 2014 1LT

I recently bought a radio equipped with navigation (part no. 23447567) that was taken from a salvaged 2014 LTZ to put in my 2014 Equinox 1LT. I bought the unit from eBay which claimed it is compatible with my vehicle in the description. I installed it no problem, and took it to the dealership today to get it unlocked, but they said they were unable to unlock it (despite charging me $70 in labor). They said that the radio installed is not listed in TIS2Web as being a compatible part for my vehicle and that their system would not allow them to unlock it.

Has anyone else had this problem before? Is there any way to unlock the radio or am I simply out of luck?

i suspect the only option is to find a compatible radio. swapping options the car is not built with (NAV) is not always configurable due to the computer communication networks.
