Default Equinox buzzing sound

I have a 2005 Chevy Equinox. Within the past 3 weeks, my vehicle has starting making a buzzing sound, after being turned off. The buzzing sound sounds like a weed eater. It last for about 2 mins after turning the vehicle off. The noise is coming from under the hood, but I cannot figure out what it is? Any Ideas?

Sounds like one of your fans is having issues. you have two cooling fans right behind the radiator; one for the radiator itself and another for the condenser.

+1 ^^

Keep an eye on that temp gauge. I'd bet it is getting a bit warmer than usual. This has happened a couple times over the last 5 years with our Equinox too. It is nothing to worry about unless the temp gauge gets past the 3/4 mark.
