Default Equinox won't start, Stabilitrak service light

So, I have a 2011 LTZ, and this was my first time driving it in snow. I was trying to get up a hill, and it wasn't going well. Saw the traction control light flash as I began to spin. I stopped, and tried to move again, but just spun my wheels. So I backed up, got onto a dry patch, and moved forward again. I used my momentum to pull ahead into my neighbor's drive and then walked up to my place.

When I went back out to start it, I got a "Service Stabilitrak" message in the dash...and the Equinox won't start. It clicks, it has power, but won't turn over. I assume something went down when I was spinning my wheels before, but not sure what's up.

Any ideas how I can get her running again to get to a dealer? I have OnStar, if that helps. I tried looking at the diagnostics online, but it says all is well. My assumption there is it only runs diagnostics once a month, and is looking at old data. Not sure if there is a way to force it to run diagnostics, or how helpful that would even be.

Any help would be appreciated.

I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue with your vehicle. This may be due to low transmission line pressure. This is just a suggestion and is not meant as a diagnosis. I recommend consulting with a certified technician for an official diagnosis.

Have you had OnStar run On-Demand Diagnostics?
