Default Heated mirror question

Hi I just purchased a 2013 Ls model I would love to have the heated mirrors and some has said Order a 1LT or LTZ mirrors and put them on and plug them in and they will work? Has any one tried this with any luck? I would think the wireing harness should be the same. how ever i know this is true on my ford Taurus just not sure on my Nox

The wiring would have to be there already. The only way to check would be to remove the inner door sail panel to check and see. Aside from that, it should be plug & play as the heated mirrors are almost always turned on with the same switch as the rear window defogger/defroster.
