NEW MEMBER. with 2011 equinox 4 cyl. the positive battery cable copper end that connects to battery post is badly corroded away. any advice on how to replace cable or repair cable end connector is greatly appreciated. THANK YOU

 

If you want to replace the cable end, you have to cut away all the bad part of the cable. Then make sure it is still long enough to reach the battery. Then you can put a new cable end on it which can be bought at any auto parts store. If the cable is too short after cutting away the bad spot then you will have to buy a new cable and replace the whole cable.
