Default Low Beam Headlights Suddenly Not working 2005 Equinox LS

My lowbeams/DRL suddenly stopped working. Have been looking for solution to this problem. Common thread I found was to replace the DRL relay. I did. It didn't fix it. Don't drive much at night but, when I do I don't like blinding other drivers. Any ideas or better yet, solutions that a 'Harriet Car Owner' could easily fix would be greatly appreciated. I'm not real keen on the idea of paying someone for something I may be able to do myself.

Thank you in advance.

Have you checked out all the fuses? I think you may have a burned out bulb and its compensating for the lost light by usingthe high beam bulb.

Might be the multifunction switch in the column. Tilt your steering wheel up or down to see if you have a bad connection.
