2010 Equinox After bench and then on car bleeding does the ABS need to be reset with a scaner?

 

only if you can't get air out of the system...ie no pedal, soft pedal. What is the problem?

 

Soft pedal. Haven't replaced it yet. Have heard it needs to be auto bled? By an ABS scanner. Just checking before I start.

 

if the soft pedal started after part replacement or the system was opened; and the pedal gets hard after pumping it up....bleed it before replacing a mc. if the pedal slowly sinks to the floor and there is no loss of fluid external anywhere...the mc is leaking internally, replace it.
