Mom needs help with 06 equinox that overheats

06 equinox, had very little heat. Added coolant and bled system, had heat for about 10 miles than overheated. Mechanic combustion tested, and some vacuum test to suck out air, so fairly confident head gasket is ok,replaced water pump,tstat, backflushed heater core. No leaks noted anywhere. Still overheats! At wits end here as a single mom, need advice not rude remarks, please help! Fan does run.

pressure test the rad cap or just replace

whichever one keeps the system pressurized. It should say something like 15 PSI on it.

What temp does the gauge indicate?
Did you test and/or replace the coolant lid?
