i have a 2012 equinox with a dead mouse somewhere in heat/vent system. how do i get it out?

Hummm now that is an interesting dilemma... can you see it?
Its going to depend on where the carcass is, try staring with the cowling at the base of the windshield...
perhaps at the blend doors under the dash...

 

i found a nest with several dead babies , icleaned out what i could see and wiped it out with bleach but it still stinks...

 

With the engine running, A/C on, and blower fan on the highest setting, try spraying some Febreze into the air inlet in the cowl below the windsheild wipers.
