Mushy brakes

Did the brakes on my sons 2016 equinox bought calibers all the around and pads from rock auto but not the rotors they were good still, after installing we bleed the brakes while do the bleeding the reservoir went dry but filled back up and bleed them again after bleeding them they are very mushy and go to floor bleed them again but the same thing is happening. Appreciate any help

Once air gets into the ABS module , it is difficult to remove without a scan tool to operate the apply and dump valves in the unit.
Also, in the normal range of operation of the brake master cyl , crud builds up and if the pedal goes to the floor, that crud scores the inner cups and it becomes almost impossible to get a solid pedal because the master is leaking internally. You may be at the point where replacing the master will be required and if you decide to do that ,,,,you MUST bench bleed the master cyl before installation and connecting the lines otherwise you will continue to insert air into the system and continue to have no or low pedal.
