Default New here. Considering trading my 17 Edge 3.5 for a new Equinox

My Edge has had 0 issues since new. It now has 75K miles on it. I’m being told the 1.5 turbo has a lot of problems and reliability problems as well as the vehicle itself and to stay away.
Id like to get some input from actual owners.
Thank you

Welcome from Florida. Just curious, why do you want to trade in your Edge that has had 0 issues?

Thank you,
I’ve always been a car guy, I enjoy a new car every 3 or 4 years. Covid delayed me this time. I have never had a car this long! I took delivery Jan 1 2017.
For the Edge with the same trim and options it’s close to $50k now. I just can’t do that.
I have a Ford power Train extended warranty that’s about to expire and I’m a little concerned about the only major flaw with the 3.5 N.A. Engine, it’s has an internal water pump driven by the timing chain. When that goes, the engine is usually destroyed.
