Haven't had the Equinox even a week and it's already throwing P0304 (Cylinder 4 Misfire) code with only 50 miles on it. (Bought it off the lot with 11 miles) It's Sunday so I can't complain to the dealership until tomorrow but I'm frustrated beyond belief. Looks like the code is fairly common with Chevy but on a new car? Come on...

 

These things happen. It's only one day till Monday. Take it to the dealer and let them fix it. Keep records just in case it happens again.

 

What was the culprit?

 

Dealer wasn't sure so they replaced the plug, injector, and coil (?). Haven't had a problem since.
