I had to put a new battery in my 2020 equinox LS when the new battery went in then came on the service engine light I took it back to auto zone the guy that installed the battery told me it was just a code where the computer lost power to keep driving it it will go off it’s been 2 days and still on I can take the neg cable off for like 10 minutes and the light is off but when I get back in and start it the light is on Confusing can anyone help

 

The light means you need a diagnostic scan to see what the problem is.
Don't take mechanical advice from parts desk jockeys.
