this is a 1999 astro 4.3 it failed NJ inspection for emmisions I scanned it and found bad 02 sensor I changed both front 02s reset light with scanner, drove it over 200 miles took it back to inspection and was told still failed. cause was "NOT READY" when i looked i noticed the service light would not light at all, i checked fuses and all were o/k I also disconnected neg battery cable and when i re-installed it the light was on with KOEO, started car engine light went on but when shut down and key on the light was off again, the light will come on if i disconnect/ reconnect but will not come back after start shutdown. what am i missing?????

 

Post the code. If you have an issue, clearing the code will only reset it till after the 5th or so reset, then it will come back.

You can get the code, reset if you want. As I stated if the problem presists, it will just keep coming back.

yes light will come on ONCE after reset koeo and after start and shut dound the light willNOT come on koeo without battery disconnect reconnect
