I popped apart the dash of my 2007 equinox , like where the speedometer tach and all of that are, because i was thinking of installing some after market lights. Well i had hardly gotten it apart when i heard a crack. A thin clear piece of plastic that broken off from somewhere, fell down into the cluster.So I reached down in after it and may have bumped the speedometer?? not sure though. all that I know is that the speedometer no longer stops at 0, it now goes all the way down to the 6 oclock position and reads 30 mph to slow when driving. any ideas on what i can do to fix this??

 

can i repleace in an Equinox 2006 a Instrument cluster from a 2008? Is there any possibility?

 

No, 2005-2006 clusters are different from the 2007-2009 clusters and they are not interchangable.
