Default tire psi

I repaired a flat on my 2007 equinox and after the tire was put back on, the tire monitoring system(where it show the psi) is blank. I can't get it to show what the psi is at. How do I fix that?

In your owners manual on page 394 is all of the instructions for your TPMS system to relearn the tire that was repaired. The information is as follows:
The TPMS sensors may also be matched to each
tire/wheel position by increasing or decreasing
the tire’s air pressure. When increasing the tire’s
pressure, do not exceed the maximum inflation
pressure indicated on the tire’s sidewall.
You will have two minutes to match each tire
and wheel position. If it takes longer than
two minutes to match any tire and wheel position,
the matching process stops and you will need
to start over.
The TPMS matching process is outlined below:
1. Set the parking brake.
2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN with the
engine off.
3. Using the DIC, press the vehicle
information button until the TIRE LOCATIONS
PRESS
V TO LEARN message displays.
4. Press the set/reset button to allow the system
to learn the tire positions. The horn will sound
twice to indicate the receiver is ready, and
the TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE message
displays. The TPMS system is ready for the
sensor matching process to begin.

5. Start with the driver side front tire.

I hope this information helps you.

Default tire psi

What is DIC? And where is the set/reset button? When I am reseting the psi, am I suppose to be putting air in the tires? Is that what you mean that I only have 2 minutes to do? Sorry...I am new to this

with some of the newer cars i have driven after replacing a flat tire, fill the tire up to spec then drive it around. so that the tpms can read the pressure.

The DIC is the Driver Information Center. It shows you things like tire pressure and oil life. The button you are looking for is a button with a check mark on it. It should be located in the center of the instrument panel. All of this information is available in your owners manual. I hope this helps!
