I got a good price on a trasmission of a equinox 2006.

Yes, it should be a direct fit. You should change all the fluid if possible and have the transmission oil life meter reset at a dealership for best results.

All 2005-2006 Equinox/Torrent transmissions are interchangeable and likewise with 2007-2009 transmissions (3.4L engine only). However, a 2005-2006 transmission will not work in a 2007-2009 Equinox/Torrent and vice versa and also FWD will not work with AWD and vice versa.

 

don't put dexron VI in it or you'll be looking for another new tranny. It takes T-IV fluid.
