Default Trouble with head lights burning out on 2008

Hello all, we have had our 2008 Equinox for 4 years and it has always had an issue with the headlights burning out. I would say I have replaced both bulbs 4-5 times due to either the high or low beam burning out. I just buy standard replacements because I don't want to waste a lot of money on expensive ones just to replace them in 6-months. Before anyone says it, yes I know you can't touch the bulbs bare handed or it ruins them. I always use a clean towel or glove when replacing them.

Has anyone experienced this problem as well? If so have you found a solution? I am thinking about trying an HID conversion kit at this point. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. If it matters it is an LT V6 AWD and does not have fog lights.
