Default 2008 Express 2500 short

I have a 2008 chevy express 2500. at random times all of the gauges in the van drop except the battery. Then almost every light comes on, ABS, brake light, check engine etc... When this happens the van also shifts very hard and rough however continues cruising as high speeds just fine. Entire fuse box was replaced and issue is still there. Issue comes in and out. Sometimes with bad weather it runs fine. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a broken wire in the harness or faulty control unit. Intermittent problems are tricky. Obd scan tools might give you clues.
