Clanging sound on a 90' g20
6 mo back my girlfriend bought an 90' g20 350 starcraft conversion w 135,000 original for a song desert car runs great! replaced waterpump changed the oil 2times and just replaced rear breaks and rotors. we drive it daily in the desert on paved roads and highways.
an intermittent light clanging sound, coming from front drivers side wheel area can be heard at low speeds, servicing of the front breaks and rack inspection could not find any faults. This sound comes and goes, and sounds like something wire like is loose is swinging or tapping on metal. This is not very loud and has no affect on performance.
we love driving it and want to maintain and improve it
can anyone guess what this sound is?

OK I'll go first...does you Van have trim rings on the wheels? If so, try removing the one at your "front drivers side wheel" and see if the noise goes away. They can sometimes be kinda noisy.
