Default fuel pump issue

I just recently replaced my power steering pump in my 04 chevy express 1500. After putting in the pump I incorrectly attached the belt and started the van. The air intake was also not on. When I started it the engine sputtered and died. I corrected the belt issue and put the intake back together and it still wouldn't fire like there was no fuel. After letting it sit overnight it started but when I drove it the engine kept hesitating and died after about 20 minutes. I have not been able to start it since. I replaced the fuel pump relay and checked the fuse but the pump does not turn on. I tested the pump directly on the batery and it worked fine. And the harness that powers the pump had a positive voltage test. Any thoughts on what might be causing this issue?
