Default How do I ensure I get the 100% aftermarket fuel pump?

1999 Chevy Express 3500

I don't want to spend $300 for a GM oem part. I want to get a Bosch or Delphi fuel pump assembly. But there are so many different options and numbers. When I pulled the rusted and disgusting pump out of my van it had a white circle sticker on top of the assembly that said: VAZ, and then had some numbers. I can't find any of these numbers matching cross reference numbers to these other pump assemblies.

I got a bosch on mine, but I just went with the part the shop ordered for me. I don't know why there are many part options unless deisel and gas are diff. Have you called a dealer parts counter?

What's the rep of Carter fuel pumps? I've never heard of them.

Here are the codes on mine.
