Underhood light 2008 chevy express

has anyone install one of these factory pieces.i bought one online with the recommended pigtail. Except the pig tail doesn't co.me with a female end to make it plug and play..u have to cut and splice....anyone have a better way??

so after alot of research,gm no longer makes the factory harness you need to make your own using ac delco pigtails,part numbers pt3910 and pt 786
